2020 Workshops

Our teachers also have specific expertise they enjoy sharing with the community through special weekend workshops.  Our upcoming workshops are listed below.

Introduction to Meditation (Dhyana) with George

4 Fridays: Jan 17, 24, 31, and Feb 7
7:00 – 8:00 PM
$80 for series, $20 drop-in if you have previously taken the series
No experience necessary.

Along with poses (asana) and breath work (pranayama), meditation (dhyana) is one of the eight limbs of Yoga. In this mini-class series, you will receive an introduction to this important aspect of yoga and gain a strong foundation for a personal practice.

Drop-ins and make ups do not apply.  This is a progressive series with each class providing a foundation for the next class.

Pat’s Please Keep Me from Falling: Balance, Strength, and How to Fall Well

Falling and not being able to get up is a common fear for all ages. In this class, Pat will show you how to increase your balance and strength to help prevent falling or manage yourself if you fall.

George’s Valentine’s Day Couples Workshop
